And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

God created each of us with a need for family, community, and friendship.  When people connect, it fills needs, builds character, expands perspective, and encourages stability.  Plus, it is just more fun doing life together.  Parkside’s vision is to be a community of Christ-followers that love God, love people, and helps others to do the same.  We believe God has designed our journey through life to go better together!

 

Parkside Group Life opportunities….

LIFEGROUPS

consist of 8 to 12 people meeting together on a regular basis to study relevant Biblical truths, to experience life together, and to help others. They meet at different times throughout the week.  We have groups for men, women, or couples.  Some meet in homes, some meet in restaurants, and some meet at Parkside.

SUNDAY MORNING GROUPS

offer a chance to share life with others in the context of exploring Biblical and relevant life-related topics with the goal of encouraging one another. They meet at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. each Sunday morning. Children group opportunities are offered at the same times. Student groups (7-12th grade) meet at 9:30 a.m.

MISSIONAL COMMUNITY

is a name we use for a medium sized group of 25 – 40 people who meet together regularly with a common mission for meeting a specific need in the community. The group experience includes worship, sharing a meal, discussing relevant Biblical truths, and planning fun and meaningful social events all while pursuing and supporting their mission focus to serve others.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY

is designed to draw women closer to God through prayer and the study of His Word. All ages of women come together to offer a variety of life experiences to help support one another. The study is offered on Thursday mornings and evenings (same study, same leaders, different groups) September through May. are designed for training disciple-making disciples.

MOPS (MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS)

purpose is to encourage, nurture, and connect mothers of preschool children. MOPS meets once a month from September through May. Child care is available.

CARE/SUPPORT GROUPS

offers a Grief Share group for those dealing with the loss of a loved one and a Divorce Care to support and encourage those who have experienced divorce.

MINISTRY TEAMS
